The ease with which hackers have been able to break into every version of MS Windows and past the so-called firewalls and virus protection software allowed Charles R Schwab's hackers to repeatedly hack into my computers and create the problems we are faced with today. Schwab and his hackers spent a minimum of eight months spying on me, destroying my computer files, stealing my emails, and causing numerous system crashes that required endless hours on the phone with Microsoft Tech's and reloading Windows. Kim talked to me about Schwab's hacking activities in person and in numerous emails, which are in safe keeping. This was all reported to local, state, and federal government law enforcement officials, first in August of 2002, and then repeatedly over the years.
How many other business and personal computers had Schwab been hacking into prior to turning his wrath upon me? And how many other men with unlimited resources have been doing the same thing by taking advantage of the security weaknesses of Windows? The security was so weak that one might wonder, Were these weaknesses intentional?
After reporting Schwab's illegal hacking activities to the US Government, rather than going after him, I was totally amazed to one day learn that the US Government had joined the fun and was also taking advantage of Windows security weaknesses and hacking into my computers. Just as Bush, Cheney, and leaders in Congress didn't care that people were aware of the truth about 9/11 or their illegal war against Iraq, they did not care that I was aware of their hacking activities and spying on me. Each time I report it , they simply ignored it. It has continued for the past eight years.
The worst example of US Government hacking into my computers was when the Bush administration (US Government) conspired with Schwab and was tracking my whereabouts so they could try to frame me for attempted murder, which I discuss on the Murder page of this site. This was one full year after I had written numerous letters to leaders of the US Government, Charles R Schwab, Charles Schwab Corporate board of directors, and Charles Schwab Corporate attorneys. Dozens of the most powerful people in the United States were aware, but did nothing to protect me from Bush and Schwab's wrath. And they have still not done anything to protect me.
If the US Government has been hacking into my computers, how many other people from around the world are they illegally spying upon by hacking into their computers?
The ability to hack into computers at will has allowed untold illegal activities. It has caused problems with personal and business relationships. It has allowed businessmen and investors to spy on one another and gain real time information re insider trading activities and theft of technical, business, and personal information. It allows people who can afford the hackers to spy on family members and friends--in and out of government.
The hacking business is thriving and hacker schools are available to train people for careers in this illegal business. If a common citizen is minding his own business and growing a little pot, which is far less harmful than alcohol or cigarettes, in order to feel peaceful and happy with his plight in life, the sirens are screaming and his ass is heading for jail. However, go to school and learn to be a hacker and receive a certificate and get hired by a corporation or the US Government where you can practice your illegal activities with impunity. For those who are aware of the real world of computers and their lack of security, this ability to hack and the willingness of humans to spy on one another creates an environment bordering on paranoia. Besides all the spying, the hacking causes computer crashes and untold wasted hours repairing the damage.
When I first discovered the ease with which Schwab's hackers were breaking into my PC with its Windows operating system, I wrote to Microsoft's CEO, Bill Gates, and the CEO's of the top PC companies and complained about the ease with which Schwab was hacking into my computers. This was sacred ground and no one bothered to respond.
Every release of Windows has provided us with promises and renewed hope for a more secure system. However, soon after its release, the "security updates" begin, as programmers patch each new hole that is discovered. Microsoft has just released Windows 7, which again provides us hope. However, debates are already raging. Should users trust them again or should they think about switching to Linux for their PC's or give up and switch to a Mac?
Microsoft Challenge: If Microsoft will provide me a copy of Windows 7, I will install it on my computer where I am sure that Charles R Schwab and/or the US Government will assist me in putting it through vigorous testing.
Note: Following are only a couple of letters that I wrote to the CEO's of our computer hardware and software companies. Perhaps joining in the US Government conspiracy to protect Schwab, no one receiving these letters responded.

Subject: Windows
XP Security Vulnerability
Reference: Computer Hacking by Mr. Charles Schwab
Attachments: Letters to President George Bush and others
Dear Mr. Gates,
I am writing to you because,
based upon my experience, your Windows XP software contains serious security
problems. With Windows XP installed on my computer, with security levels set
to “Default,” people easily got through this protection and hacked
into my computer.
Starting around the end of 2001 and for at least the next eight months, Mr. Charles
Schwab had his people were continually hacking into my computer and stealing
copies of my email, which were then forwarded to others. I will not reiterate
the story here, but will refer you to the attached complaints that I filed with
the FBI and SEC, plus my many letters to President Bush and others in government.
After I learned that Mr. Schwab
had been hacking into my computer, I installed Norton Internet Security—per your technical support
people’s
advice. Despite the fact Norton’s firewall was running, Mr. Schwab’s
people were still able to invade my computer again around November of last year.
The evidence was that the files in my folder relative to him were destroyed.
He wasn’t thinking right or he would have realized that I always backup
all my documents. I was also copying two lawyers on all communication about
Charles Schwab.
One ongoing indication that my computer was being hacked
into was that it kept crashing, locking up, and becoming non-functional. I spent
many hours with your technicians trying to keep in running. I also worked with
technicians here in Eugene. The common feeling was that my computer was being
hacked into. This situation required that I re-format the HD and reinstall Windows
and all my other software many times. Since writing to Bush about the November
intrusion, my computer has not gone down again, so perhaps Schwab has backed
off.
I do not feel that the software
vulnerabilities are the most serious problem we have relative to computer security.
What I have learned through many months of traumatic experience is that powerful
people like Charles Schwab can hack into our computers at will, while our government
turns its back. And if they are turning their back when Schwab does this, then
they are doing the same with other rich and powerful people.
Though I have provided piles of documents to prove that Schwab was hacking
into my computer, the Bush Administration has not even bothered to talk with
me about my allegations. Quite amazingly, neither has Attorney General John
Ashcroft or anyone in his DOJ. But most serious because they are supposed to
represent American citizens, no one in congress has bothered to even acknowledge
receiving my letters.
When people know they can
commit crimes and get away with it, they will repeat the act. Knowing how easy
it was for Schwab to hack into my computer with impunity, I am sure that he
has been hacking into other people’s
computers all his life. This ability would be a real advantage for someone in
the stock market. Knowledge of technical innovation, upcoming product announcements,
marketing strategies, management changes—all this provides a competitive
edge.
This is a very serious problem, as I’m sure you know. If our government
is not going to protect us from stalkers and computer hackers, then it is going
to be even more necessary for software companies such as Microsoft to provide
this protection. When I talked with the Portland FBI agent in August, 2002,
he told me that our firewall software such as Norton and McAfee could not keep
out the really good hackers. I now know how true this is…
If you are interested, I will gladly discuss this matter. I will also provide documents to support my allegations. I also have my original hard drive that was subjected to the hacking.
Sincerely,
Enclosed: CD Containing all files relative to Mr. Charles

Dear Sirs:
Starting in the last half
of 2001 and continuing as recently as November of 2003, Mr. Charles Schwab
of Charles Schwab Corporation had his people hacking into my computer. He did
the same with my former fiancée.
I have provided the FBI and Attorney General John Ashcroft with dozens of
documents that implicate Mr. Schwab in these activities.
Mr. Schwab has also had
access to other documents and information on my two computers, for he destroyed
certain documents relating to him that were stored on my computer. Thank
goodness my experience with PC’s
and MS Windows had taught me to always backup my files.
Besides having my personal documents stolen and passed on to others, Mr. Schwab’s
hacking activities caused my fiancée’s and my computers to crash
many times. This required spending many hours with Microsoft’s tech support,
plus hiring local tech support. Please refer to attachments.
I bring this issue to your attention because it is obvious that our PC hardware
and software are not secure against serious hackers. During the period when
Mr. Schwab was engaged in hacking my computers, I was utilizing both Compaq
and IBM PCs. Windows XP was used on all these.
Besides utilizing the built-in Windows XP internet security features, I also
tried Norton System Works, Norton Internet Security, McAfee, and Zone Alarm.
However, our latest technologies could not keep Mr. Schwab’s hackers
out of my computers. What I discovered over the past couple years is that there
is no such thing as “internet security.”
Based
upon my experience and the advice from Microsoft’s technical support
team, hackers can disable security features in our internet security software.
It then becomes impossible to uninstall or reinstall these programs. The hacking
also caused my computers to frequently start crashing. After many hours on
the phones with MS tech support, I learned that there is often no way to recover
except to reformat the HD and start over—a very lengthy process.
Though I consider Mr. Schwab’s hacking activities very serious, there
is a much greater problem in our country: The US Government refuses to investigate
my allegations against Mr. Schwab. Indeed, for the most part they will not
even acknowledge my letters to them.
It is my perception that the Bush Administration has been protecting Mr. Schwab.
Could it be that Mr. Schwab, the 51st richest man in America, is one of the
Republican Party’s greatest campaign contributors?
I think it safe to assume that if
Mr. Schwab could so easily hack into my computers, he has made a life-long
practice of hacking into the computers of more important people. I can only
imagine the amount of spying he’s
done on his and other companies’ employees, enemy businessmen, competitors,
and perhaps even government workers. And if you can’t get through the
firewalls at their workplace, you might catch them on their home computers,
where people often work and discuss their activities through emails. More frightening
is the prospect that if Mr. Schwab is engaging in these illegal activities,
then so are hundreds of other wealthy people who can afford the high level hackers.
While becoming a great tool, computers have made us a very insecure society.
And our US Government simply turns its back.
Is there a conflict of interest
involved when wealthy people like Mr. Schwab break the law while contributing
to political leaders? During the period while I have been reporting Mr. Schwab’s illegal
activities to President Bush and others in congress, the Bush Administration
has continued to accept very large political contributions from Mr. Charles
Schwab. Did some author say something about “…we have the best
government money can buy?” Can
people like me expect protection from people like Mr. Schwab, or that justice
will be served under such conditions?
Given the seriousness of the problem,
I believe it the responsibility of our computer and software corporate leaders
to accept the responsibility for computer and internet security. People should
be able to buy a new computer with all the latest internet security software
with confidence and not have to become paranoid, as I have, that someone is
hacking into their computer.
Mr. Schwab hacked into my fiancée’s
and my computers for so long and created such turmoil in our lives, that today
I always assume his hackers continue to feed him copies of my emails and other
documents. As I type this letter, I assume that Mr. Schwab will be reading it
way before it makes it to your offices.
On the more serious side, my fiancée told me that if I reported Mr.
Schwab’s illegal behavior, he could have me “taken care of.” Lawyers
have also warned me of the same thing. The last time I talked with the FBI
in August, 2003, they told me as much when they asked me if I thought my life
was in danger. When I told them, yes, they didn’t respond. I also told
them that my previous fiancée’s life was in danger—the reason
she started lying to them about her involvement with Mr. Schwab.
After dedicating 36 years of my life to IBM, about half that time in various
management positions, I was pushed out of the company in 1993 at age 55—the
great reward I received for many years of dedication as a top performer. I
joined many of my friends who had also dedicated their lives to IBM. It was
called a “buyout,” but I was told that if I didn’t accept
it, I might soon be laid off without any “buyout.”
[personal information omitted]
Mr. Schwab, probably with the
help of the US Government, has tried to make me look like a nutcase. In August
of 2003, Mr. Schwab set up a phony bomb scare on his properties at Pebble Beach,
CA. Please refer to the SF Chronicle. He then reported to the FBI that he thought
I was trying to kill him—a tremendous
laugh, because he lives and works in the Bay Area. His huge mansion in Pebble
Beach was to be his retirement home. But when God speaks, the US Government
listens. Though the FBI had shown no interest in pursuing my complaints about
Mr. Schwab’s hacking activities, they were soon knocking on my door and
interrogating me about his accusations that I was trying to kill him. Please
reference enclosed documents.
I encourage our computer and
software companies to become more involved with the enforcement of our laws
against hackers like Mr. Schwab. It should be obvious that our internet security
efforts and laws are not enough to protect us—especially
when powerful people in our society are allowed to break our laws with impunity.
Today, there is no such thing as “internet security.” Bringing
some of the hackers to justice might improve the situation.

Note: Subsequent to these letters, plus the many letters I had sent to leaders in the US Government, my computers were hacked into numerous times. The hacking is usually via US Government spies posing as women on match.com and other dating sites, which continues under the Obama administration. On one occasion a "pretty lady in Washington" sent me an email containing a dozen attachments. Though I was suspicious and did not open the attachments, 12 Trojan horses were instantly planted on my computer. I reported this incidence and similar events to the US Government and they ignored me. The US Government continues to try to hack into my computers and I really have no assurance that they are not successful. As long as the US Government and people like Schwab can hack our computers with impunity, common people around the world have no privacy and no protection. Their computers and the Internet is a massive network of government and private spies. Freedom of speech? Equal protection? Justice? Human rights? Civil liberties? Nothing but a soothing elixir for the masses while they are abused and robbed of their last dime.
