In August 2003 stockbroker Charles R. Schwab, President Bush, and VP Dick Cheney were at the White House conspiring in an elaborate plot to frame me for attempting to kill stockbroker Charles Schwab. It was only by a stroke of luck that I was not arrested and locked up in prison for the rest of my life. My story should convince all Americans that we do not live in a Democracy and are not protected by the US Constitution or Bill of Rights. Free Speech, Equal Protection, and Equal Justice are but grand ideas and hopes of America’s  founders. The reality is that all members of the US Government are nothing but puppets for the corrupt billionaire members of AIPAC. Expose their corruption and risk death or becoming a US Government Target–for life. There are books available re US Government Targets.

Bomb Hoax Chapter from my Book

In this chapter from my book the main characters are Kim, Charles Schwab and his friend Keith Johnson, Eugene FBI Agent John Ferreira, Portland FBI agent John Mueller, III and me. Kim was working for Schwab’s friend and neighbor Keith Johnson at Fieldstone Homes in San Diego. Schwab was President Bush’s Chief Economic Advisor being prepared to become US Treasury Secretary. However, Schwab’s Treasury Secretary job was in jeopardy due to my having exposed him to possible insider trading charges.

In order to save him, Bush and Cheney colluded with Schwab in an elaborate plan to frame me for attempting to assassinate him.

It is my belief that Keith Johnson was unaware of Schwab’s illegal actions against Kim and the me.

When I discuss President Bush, I am referring to the Bush administration, for I had already written to his leaders at the DOJ, FBI, SEC and Homeland Security. It is assumed that Bush’s lead man in orchestrating their plan to entrap me and put me in prison was Bush’s senior advisor and hatchet man Karl Rove, famous for destroying innocent people’s careers and lives. The Bomb Hoax was  one of many attempts by Schwab and Bush to trap me and put me in prison. The Bomb Hoax was a close call and had I not canceled my travel plans to California I would have been arrested for attempted murder, and would still be rotting in Solitary Confinement. Such are the rewards for the good guys for who make the mistake of reporting an oligarch’s crimes.

Four US presidents have pampered criminal Charles Schwab while doing their best to assist him in his attempt to silence me. Any American thinking about reporting a rich man or member of the US Government for criminal behavior should have his head examined.

Please note:
This story can be validated via the San Francisco Chronicle & other newspapers in California, plus the sheriff’s department that investigated the case and determined the bombs were fake. Eugene FBI agent John Ferreira played a key role, but it can’t be verified by the FOIA because the US Government insists they have no records of the case and deny it even exists. However, the case can be easily verified by my letters to and from the White House in which President Bush advised me he was referring my complaints against Schwab to his DOJ. Then there are my letters to and from the DOJ and SEC. Despite all this communication with Bush, Cheney, and their administration, the FBI and CIA advise me they have to record of my case. Governments that have lost control and have become so incompetent are in the final stages of collapse.

From
The Stockbroker’s Lady

The FBI Bomb Hoax

On August 19, 2003, I received a phone call from Kim (Schwab’s former lover, now my fiancée). She was crying as she told me bombs had been found at Charles Schwab’s retirement mansion in Pebble Beach, CA, and at the nearby Charles Schwab office in Carmel. She said, “Wayne, just tell me, did you plant these bombs? Charles and Keith both told me they think you planted the bombs and are trying to kill Charles.” Of course, until now I had no idea of what she was talking about.  From the tone of her voice, I knew the purpose of her call was to assure herself that her wealthy friends were wrong. Kim told me she was also receiving death threats over the phone and told me how scared she was.

I had never seen Kim so upset as she said, “If anything happens to me promise you will call Chad and let him know.” She was referring to her son Dr. Charles Haines, who was professor of anthropology at the University of North Carolina. I assured her I would let him know what Schwab had been putting us through. She then asked, “Have you told Eric [my son] about what’s been going on? Does he know your life is in danger?” Trying to remain calm, I said, “Kim, I have never thought it necessary to discuss these matters with Eric.”

Sensing what Schwab and Bush were up to, I said, “I don’t think we are in danger.” After hearing about what her supposed friends Charles Schwab and Keith Johnson were putting Kim through, I could hardly contain my rage. Besides trying to convince Kim I was trying to kill Schwab, they were hoping to convince her that I was trying to kill her. With their overblown egos and godlike perceptions of themselves, these wealthy men could not comprehend basic human nature. Until Schwab destroyed our relationship and forced Kim to leave me, she and I had been deeply in love and very close. So, when Charles and Keith tried to frighten her and turn her against me, she did not respond as planned and it backfired on them. In desperation she once more turned to me.

Try to imagine the president of the United States conspiring with one of the country’s richest and most powerful men in an effort to frame an innocent US citizen for murder–because he had reported Schwab’s insider trading activities.

Kim was suffering terrible conflicts because she had always considered these wealthy men her friends and could not have imagined they were the perpetrators of such a plot to frame me for attempting to murder Schwab and spend the rest of my life in prison. For Kim this was beyond belief. But Schwab was in deep trouble and was desperate to save himself from possible insider trading charges.

I tried to settle her down and told her, “Kim, this is a hoax and Schwab’s bombs are probably fakes. Think about it. If someone wanted to kill him they would plant the bombs at his mansion in Atherton, where he is living. And why would someone plant bombs at the little Charles Schwab office in Carmel when he works at his corporate office in San Francisco?”

Despite what I hoped were reassuring words, I knew that no one could possibly get close to Schwab’s mansion anyway because of all the security. I knew immediately why Pebble Beach and Carmel had been chosen to try to frame me for attempted murder. However, I did not discuss this with Kim because it would only confuse her more. I said, “Kim, take it easy. Everything will be okay. The FBI will be knocking at my door and I’ll let you know what happens.” For a long time I had suspected Schwab and Bush were working together to block investigation into my allegations against Schwab and prevent his going to prison. Now I was learning that they were turning the tables on me and conspiring to get me off the streets and silence me. They might also be trying to get Kim off the streets, for she was the key witness to Schwab’s criminal activities. Contrary to what I told Kim, I knew we were both in danger. It’s been over eight years since I’ve heard from Kim and I don’t  known if she is alive or dead.

The FBI Comes Calling, August 21, 2003

A couple days after Kim’s phone call, on August 21, 2003 two FBI agents showed up at our door. I was not home so they left their cards with my son and requested I contact them. One of the cards was from FBI agent John Ferreira, the first FBI agent I talked with a year earlier who would not hear my complaints against Schwab “…because I had not lost $100,000”. It appeared that Schwab did not have to lose $100,000 for them to pursue what I would soon learn were his complaints against me. I did not recognize the second agent and don’t recall his name.

I called Ferreira and scheduled a meeting at the Eugene FBI office. Being ignorant about these things and still falsely believing that facts and truth were the basis for justice in the US, I felt confident and did not think I would have problems with the FBI. However, I would soon learn that the FBI is as crooked as the CIA, as they all work for the same people. This would be my first meeting with any law enforcement people in person regarding my complaints against Schwab and I looked forward to the opportunity to present my case. When I arrived, Ferreira and the other agent invited me into a small room with only a table and a few chairs. Ferreira sat facing me and seemed relaxed and friendly. He did most of the talking while his partner sat to my left, remaining stoic while staring at me and weighing every word. Obviously not yet catching on to the fact they were part of Schwab and Bush’s plan to put me in prison, I told them how pleased I was to finally be able to talk with someone from the FBI in person. I pulled out a small recorder and laid it on the table and asked if I could record our meeting. They didn’t go for it and Ferreira told me they preferred I not use it. I later kicked myself for complying and putting it back in my pocket.

Ferreira started the meeting by telling me bombs had been found at Charles Schwab’s home in Pebble Beach and at Charles Schwab’s office in Carmel. He held up a letter, saying, “Because of this letter you sent Schwab, he thinks you were responsible for the bombs and were trying to kill him.” Although I expected to be questioned about the bombs, hearing that Schwab was accusing me of planting them caused me to turn cold. Ferreira’s demeanor and tone of voice were not convincing, and I sensed he joined me in thinking how utterly ridiculous this was. Maybe he was thinking back a year when I had sought his help against Schwab, but his superiors had interfered. Ferreira handed me the letter, which I had written Schwab on October 30, 2002.
I chuckled nervously. “This letter was written almost ten months ago and it doesn’t contain anything remotely resembling a threat. This was simply an attempt to introduce myself, discuss my relationship with Kim, and request that he stop harassing and stalking Kim.” As I handed the letter back to Ferreira, I was sure the two agents could see that I was stunned and in a jam. My mind was racing. First, I wondered if Ferreira and his partner were for real or if they were part of a Schwab/Bush conspiracy to frame me for attempted murder. It wasn’t important because the results would be the same for me. I would be arrested and locked up. Thus silenced, I would no longer be a threat to Schwab and Bush. This was like a bad dream and I was learning the truth about the US government’s locking up of innocent people.

Charles Schwab–US Government Conspiracy Confirmed

Forgetting for a moment that they already knew the truth, I started defending myself against Schwab’s accusations. I explained Kim’s former relationship with Schwab and his obsession with having her back. I told them about his harassment and stalking, my letters to Bush, and how the US government refused to investigate my complaints against him. It was easy to forget that local FBI agents are just extensions of the US government. While listening to me explain my involvement with Kim and Schwab, Ferreira became restless and appeared impatient. He seemed to want to tell me that he already knew all this stuff, so why waste our time. The other agent remained quiet and was hard to read as he continued to watch me, listening intently, now and then interrupting if he caught a discrepancy in something I said.

I had just begun discussing Kim and Schwab’s two-year engagement when Ferreira interrupted me. “The FBI has talked with Charles Schwab and Kim Haines and they have sworn they don’t know each other. Charles Schwab also says he doesn’t know you.” I was shocked and my mind was in turmoil as I realized that Kim had broken her promise and had betrayed me. Schwab must have been monitoring our email and intervening for the past year. All this time she had been taking direction from him or the US government. In her defense, Kim might not have been aware she was becoming involved in Schwab’s conspiracy with the US government. The FBI’s claim that these two swore they did not know each other might explain why members of government outside the White House had ignored my complaints for the past year. I found myself between the proverbial rock and a hard place.
I had always been under the impression that information obtained from witnesses by the FBI was confidential. If this was true, why was Ferreira telling me about Schwab and Kim’s denials about knowing each other? Initially, I felt Ferreira was on my side, but considering the evidence I had provided the FBI the past year, which clearly contradicted Schwab and Kim’s claims, the FBI should have known they were lying. Something was wrong with all of this. Ferreira had to be aware of Schwab and Bush’s conspiracy and if this was the case he was either making me aware of why I had not made any progress, or he felt if I were told that Schwab and Kim claimed they didn’t know each other I would back off and forget about it. I wondered if Ferreira was bothered by having to interrogate me while knowing Schwab and Bush were trying to entrap me. The two FBI agents sat quietly watching me struggle with my dilemma.

After giving me time to digest what I had been told, Ferreira took on a more serious demeanor. “Where were you when these bombs were discovered?” This was serious and I could hardly believe we were going to continue this farce.
I laughed nervously. “Well, gentlemen, I hate to disappoint you, but I was right here in Eugene.” It was a close call and a wrong answer would have resulted in my being handcuffed and arrested. I went on to explain how Schwab and Bush had tried to entrap me and frame me for attempted murder. “You see, Schwab has been hacking my computer and reading my email for over a year. A while back I sent emails to friends in California telling them I would be visiting. I especially wanted to visit Seventeen Mile Drive and Carmel where I had done photography work many years ago.” Ferreira was already aware, but I went on to explain that Seventeen Mile Drive was located near Pebble Beach where Schwab was building his retirement mansion. It was also near Carmel where Charles Schwab had a small office. I smiled and said, “Isn’t it interesting that these bombs were discovered during the very week I was planning to be in that area?” I felt tremendous relief and said, “Sorry, but I became ill and had to cancel my trip. I wasn’t in California.” The two agents sat quietly while pondering this turn of events that messed up their plans. Continuing, I said, “The only way Schwab and the government could know I would be in that area was by reading my email. They blundered badly, however, because I used my phone to call and advise my friends I was canceling my travel plans.”

Ferreira appeared frustrated. “Can you provide names of people who can verify your whereabouts when the bombs were found?” I provided three names and phone numbers of friends, but later learned that the FBI did not bother to call them. Why should they when they knew I was innocent and they had other plans.

Still gullible and unable to abandon my inherent belief in America’s judicial system, I requested the opportunity to provide the FBI evidence that would disprove Kim and Schwab’s claims that they did not know each other. Rather reluctantly, Ferreira agreed and we set a date for a follow-up meeting.

Kim Caught off Guard

When I got home, I called Kim and told her about my meeting with the FBI agents. It caught her by surprise when I said, “One of the agents told me you and Charles swore to the FBI that you don’t know each other. What’s up with this?”

Obviously under the impression that her discussion with the FBI had been confidential, she said, “Wait a minute. What’s going on here?”

Trying not to reveal my disappointment, I said, “Kim, it has taken me a whole year to discover that you betrayed me. I now understand why the government has not responded to my complaints about Schwab.” She was quiet and did not try to explain. Neither did I press her for an answer. Schwab and Bush were controlling her and the damage had been done.

When I told her I was going to meet with the FBI again and provide proof that she and Schwab did know each other, she said, “You can do as you please. It is none of my concern.”

Second FBI Meeting

I arrived for my second meeting at the FBI office with a briefcase full of documents. When he saw my stack of letters and emails, Ferreira was overwhelmed. He said, “Look, the San Francisco FBI office is handling this case. We’re just talking with you as a courtesy to them.”

“That’s fine,” I said, “But I would like the opportunity to prove that Schwab and Kim are lying when they claim they don’t know each other.”

Ferreira said, “Okay, we will forward your documents to the San Francisco office. The FBI will talk with them again and if they were lying they are both going to prison.” He spoke in a serious tone as if to let me know he had heard enough and was convinced. It was abundantly clear whose side Bush was on, but I wanted to believe Ferreira and hoped the FBI would fulfill their responsibilities and do what was right. That was in August of 2003 and as of this writing, neither Kim nor Schwab are in prison.

Things had not gone well for Schwab and Bush’s plans to entrap me and Ferreira appeared worried by my eagerness to pursue the case. Toward the end of our meeting he looked at me and said, “Aren’t you worried about getting killed?” His demeanor was such that I could not determine whether he was doing me a favor and warning me that my life was in danger, or saying this to frighten me and convince me I should back off.

Thinking back about my meeting with Kim in Temecula, I said, “When Kim first told me about her relationship with Schwab, she told me not to mess with him because he could have his people take care of me. I have discussed this possibility with two attorneys who agreed I might be risking my life. I am not deterred because I feel a man must do what he feels is right.” I left our meeting with the impression that neither side had accomplished anything.

Attempted Polygraph Test

In an awkward twist of events, a couple of days after the bombs were discovered, it was determined that they were fakes, just as I had predicted to Kim. Could it be just a careless oversight that the FBI did not talk with the witnesses I provided to verify my whereabouts the day the bombs were discovered? Things were not going well for Schwab and Bush, but they did not were not going to give up. A few days after our second visit, Ferreira called and asked if I would be willing to come in for a polygraph test. A strange feeling came over me as I realized they were trying to subject me to a fake polygraph test. We studied polygraph testing in one of my psychology classes and I was aware of how easily the person performing the test can influence the results. If they had not yet talked with witnesses I provided, and if the bombs were fakes, what was the purpose of a lie detector test? Was I supposed to believe that someone would try to kill Schwab with fake bombs? The offer of the polygraph test left no doubt that Schwab and Bush were attempting to frame me for attempting to murder Schwab. This was scary and I needed advice.

I told Ferreira, “Sure, I’ll take your polygraph test. I’ve been open and honest and have nothing to hide. But first I want to talk with my attorney.” I met my attorney friend with whom I had been discussing the case from the beginning. She was aware of my current discussions with the FBI. I told her the FBI had not verified my whereabouts by talking with witnesses I provided, and now it’s been determined the bombs were fake, so why would they want me to submit to a polygraph test?

She became alarmed and said, “Don’t you dare take a polygraph test. Those people are up to no good.” I knew she was right and realized my pride had got in the way of clear thinking when I agreed to take the test. I told her about my college psychology classes where we studied polygraph testing and learned how easily the results can be manipulated by the person administering the test. When I got home I called Ferreira and said, “Okay, I’ll take your polygraph test, but only if Charles Schwab agrees to take it first. Give me a call and let me know how he does with the test.” I never heard from the FBI again and concluded that the only purpose of the polygraph test was to cause me to fail. I would have been arrested, handcuffed, and hauled off to prison, and would not be telling you my story. I am sure the US government has many innocent people like me locked up because they were blowing the whistle on corrupt government and corporate leaders. Proving that I was not in California did not matter. Proving Schwab’s illegal activities and that he and Kim had lied to the FBI didn’t matter. Discovering the bombs were fakes did not matter. They had to silence me.

I became confused and troubled as I tried to comprehend how it was possible that my government representatives and leaders at every level were aware of Schwab and Bush’s conspiracy against me, but remained silent and refused to help me. My narrow escape caused me to feel a vulnerability I had never experienced before. I was learning about the dark side of the US government of which few people are aware. Only by sheer luck and my training in psychology did I manage to escape Schwab and Bush’s attempt to entrap me and lock me up.
